No Thrill for Captain Thunder

With Flash Comics off the table, Fawcett tried again with Thrill Comics but the registration of the title failed due to Better Comics getting there first with Thrilling Comics starring Dr. Strange!
Not only did Fawcett need to come up with a new name for their flagship character but they couldn't come up with a name for the comic book he was to star in.

After losing Flash Comics to The Flash, Captain Thunder almost starred in... Thrill Comics!
Unfortunately, Fawcett was beaten to the punch, again! This time by Better Comics who launched Thrilling Comics #1 — starring Dr. Strange!
