Given incredible wisdom by the elder, Solomon, via the old wizard, Shazam, Captain Marvel used this power in a variety of ways from theorizing the plans of criminals to displaying and acting on scientific knowledge.
In his third adventure, Cap was unable to fly through space unaided. Trapped on the planet Venus after Dr. Sivana left him there — Cap used the wisdom of Solomon to build a new rocket ship, based on the one he had seen Sivana leave in.
Because the wisdom of Solomon wasn't as demonstrably displayed as his other powers, the Fawcett writers often didn't call it out when Cap made use of it.
